On October 31, we are going to partner with the HOV House of Prayer’s week of prayer and night of worship through engaging the lost with prayer and the Word.
Between 6 and 9pm, we will go out into the neighborhoods and streets to offer prayer and the good news of God’s word as we connect with people out trick or treating or out and about during festivities. Meanwhile teams will be praying that we are led by the Spirit to people who are open, in need and prepared by Him. They will also cover us in protective and spiritual cover.
Specifics: Show up at the HOVHOP building at the beginning of one of the sessions (a. 6pm b. 7:30pm). We will meet in the fellowship hall of HOVHOP, 2555 NW Highland Dr

Third, familiarize yourself with the THREE STEPS and FOUR TRACKS.
Three Steps
When we approach people or meet them at their door, we will OFFER PRAYER to them. We will say something like, “Hi, my name is ____ and this is ____. We are out here to bless our neighbors and pray for the community. Is there anyway we could pray for you tonight?” If they are open and share a specific prayer request, ask if you can pray for them right there. Do so.
Next we will SHARE GOOD NEWS with them. At this point, it is nice to share a Bible story or promise that pertains to what they asked prayer for. You can also insert your 15 second testimony or gospel presentation here. Be bold, confident and loving. Ask them what stands out to them or if they’d like to have a story like that in their life.
Lastly, as the conversation progresses, INVITE THEM TO MEET AGAIN AND DISCOVER MORE ABOUT THE BIBLE. If they are open and interested exchange phone numbers or take note of their address. We will work to reconnect with them and/or help you follow them up.

The four tracks are four things we want to count or keep track of to celebrate and share with the group when we return to debrief. These are:
1. # of people we offer prayer to
2. # of people who receive prayer and we pray with
3. # of people we are able to share good news from the Bible or our testimonies
4. # of people we invite to meet again and study the Word with
